Siemens Partnership Announcement

We are delighted to announce that PFS Group are now Siemens Solution Partners! This exciting new partnership will mark the second major Fire alarm system manufacturer that we work closely with, allowing us to continue to expand the services and support we can offer to our clients. Siemens fire safety products compose of several products designed to provide unbeatable accuracy and ease of use for building personnel, installers, and firefighters.

The solutions they offer are composed of products such as the Cerberus PRO system and it’s ASA detection which provide many benefits to over other solutions on the market, such as reduced false alarms, detailed cloud based capabilities and strong reliability.

Yesterday the PFS Group team were formally presented with our Partnership certificate, alongside detailed presentations with our office team from Siemens Regional Sales Manager, Suzanne Byron. You can see some photos of the presentation of the award further down on this page.

We will be publishing more details of the Siemens products on our website and social channels in due course, and we very much look forward to working with new and existing clients to see how this partnership can help us support you even better moving forwards.

The whole PFS Group team are delighted to now be recognised as Siemens Solution Partners and we look forward to growing this relationship in the near future.

New Faces at PFS Group

We are delighted to announce that in the past week three new employees have joined the team at PFS Group. These three individuals have each joined separate departments within the Company as we look to continue to expand and grow the business and support our clients.

Firstly on Wednesday last week Kelly Scarrah joined our team as a Junior Estimator. Kelly will work in our Contracts department alongside our existing team, helping to deliver great service to our clients. Kelly’s role will see her heavily involved in maintenance estimation which will entail completing site surveys and putting together detailed quotations for our customers.

PFS Group have today launched our new website! After several months worth of work to design our new online home we have now successfully completed the transition to our new site. PFS Obtain Acclaim Accreditation

PFS Group are pleased to announce that we have obtained the Acclaim certification. Further strengthening how we display our Health & Safety compliance to our customers, our Acclaim accreditation is supported by Constructionline & SafeContractor memberships, the latter of which also includes compliance the the SSIP scheme, which means PFS are now recognised as SSIP approved via two seperate accreditations.

First Service Engineers Meeting of 2020

Today we held our first Service engineer meeting of 2020! Our team of Service engineers meet each quarter to discuss various items, such as technical changes, feedback from customers, changes the company are making moving forwards, as well as general feedback from both the office team & the engineering team.

Heading up the meeting is our Principal Engineer, Simon Ranson, and Operations Manager, Richard Miller. With a growing number of engineers it is more important than ever to ensure we have a direct line of communication to all engineers and the Service engineers meetings is a great way of doing this within our Service team.

Further Expansion of Our Fleet

We have taken delivery of several new vans this week as our business continues to expand. It crucial that we can continue to supply our customers with a quick and proactive service and a large part of that is achieved thanks to our fleet of vehicles. With our team further expanding with several new engineers joining us the past few months we have once again increased the number of vehicles we have available to us.

PFS Group Recieve GENT 10 Year Award

PFS Group have now been proud members of the GENT 24 network for 10 years. Awarded to us by our Account Manager, Stacey Adams, the award was collected on behalf of PFS by Director Andrew Cowen and Contracts Manager Simon Ford.

PFS have been a proponent of GENT systems for a long-time and all of our engineers are GENT trained to allow us to provide support across a range of products.

PFS Staff Complete Risk & Method Statement Course

On Friday PFS welcomed Tim Ford from Key Ostas to our offices to deliver a course on assessing the risks our engineers face on site, ensuring our RAMS are comprehensive and detailed, whilst also providing further training on the ECA’s ERAMS service.

We believe it is key that our staff are aware of the requirements of complying to the health & safety regulations and sessions like this one discovered by our H&S partners, Key Ostas, are crucial to ensuring our staff are competent in their roles.

PFS Raise Money For The EIC

In October a number of our staff and engineering team took park in the Royal Parks Half Marathon. We are incredibly proud of the staff who entered, all of whom completed the course successfully. The run was all to raise money for our business supported charity the EIC (Electrical Industries Charity). We are pleased to announce that with the combined efforts of the staff involved we raised £310 for the cause.

Green Energy: Solar Panels Installed at Our Offices

Like many business PFS Group are looking at ways to reduce our carbon footprint, we all know of the environmental challenges facing the world in the coming decades and we must all look into the ways we can reduce the impact we are having. As part of our scheme to reduce our own impact we have recently had a large scale solar panel installation completed on the roof of our offices in Southend.
